BlackBerry Upgrade and Hero designs

The Challenge:

BlackBerry have multiple ways to upgrade phone software, resulting in a difficult user experience when presenting a long description of methods on their UK web site.

Execution:

After reviewing the complicated upgrade copy, we decided to break the key methods into 3 distinct sections. we then created associated iconography in the Blackberry style to help the user identify the best method for their purpose.

Result:

The clarity of presentation was a positive move for the BlackBerry site managers, who did not realise how confusing the original had been for potential customers as they were "too close to the product".
