The Challenge:

Having merged 7 new global drilling services companies into their business, Schlumberger needed to align their ageing intranet with the new structure and start a new phase of knowledge sharing. Key to this was the intranet restructure - and in particular the portal homepage redesign.


With the main Schlumberger stakeholders, a new interanet structure was identified including pipeline, knowledge share, best parctice and a new rewards and recognition programme to drive change. The portal homepage layout was given a new simplified grid with prominence given to live data feeds including stock, personal performance and dashboard.


The redesign was extremely well received and was used as the basis for driving the overall intranet re-structure - taking Schlumberger into a new era of business.
